Cervical cancer...: ...is not diagnosed with blood tests. Pelvic exams, biopsies, and scans determine the diagnosis and extent (stage) of the disease. Anyone who is seriously ill (including from cervical cancer) may have abnormal blood tests, but this is non-specific and would not point to the exact cause.

Prevention : Cervical cancer does not show up on a blood test. Usually it is picked up with an abnormal Pap smear, or abnormal cervical mass. Any symptoms of irregular bleeding, bleeding after sex, or abnormal foul smelling discharge should be examined. Also make sure you get your gardisil shot to prevent cervical cancer !
