Maybe your pillow: Could from the position you are sleeping in, especially if you recently changed your pillow. Of course, there can be many potential causes of neck pain, so it's best to see your primary care for a proper evaluation if it is bad enough. Hope this helps!

This may be causing muscle strain or a pinched nerve in the neck. Don't sleep with head elevated on too many pillows and try changing pillows or trying a cervical pillow which are available online or in stores.
