Yes, there may be: a connection. She may have a contusion (BRUiSING) FOREHEAD, or maybe a mild case of NECK "whiplash". If you are concerned you should have her be seen today. If not, and If she is otherwise ok, it may be reasonable to treat with children's Motrin/Tylenol and watch her.

Head injury: She could have some neck strain (kind of like whiplash) from her fall. If she is acting normally, you may want to watch her today and see how she feels after she is up and moving around. If she had any loss of consciousness, vomiting more than twice, or seems confused, see her doctor immediately.
