I have a kidney transplant but phosphate going up over the years. i take caltrate as binder with food. how best to take them? chew?

Talk to your doctor: If the transplant kidney function is good.....you will not expect high phosphorous level.....so talk to your transplant surgeon or Nephrologist first.
