Is it possible for a 20 years old girl to have a fibroid?

YES: If this 20 year old has a bulging belly or can feel a mass in there, she needs to see a gynecologist. She may have one fibroid, many fibroids and/or an ovarian mass. Most ovarian masses in 20 year olds are not cancer, but can be. The fibroid may be causing very heavy periods, perhaps because of it's location.
