See your doctor : More information is needed to respond to your question. For instance, what kind of pain do you have? Where is the pain located? What has been done in the past to treat your pain? Have you tried non-narcotics? You will need a detailed history and physical exam done by your doctor who will make treatment recommendations. Many patients do well on non-narcotic treatments for their pain.
