Lots of choices.: While you may be tempted to focus on a high protein diet, the well balanced diet of vegetables (dark green,) colorful fruits and vegetables (yellow, red and purple) and protein (nuts and legumes) are all great for the work out lifestyle. If you find yourself losing weight (checking weekly,) then add more nuts and perhaps avocado. They have healthy energy fats.

Vegetarian bodybuild: Great question! Just b/c something isn't meat (derived from animals) doesn't mean it's good for you. For instance, candy bars aren't derived from animals yet I wouldn't label them healthy. Check out http://www.mensfitness.com/nutrition/what-to-eat/can-vegetarians-gain-muscle as a starting point. Consider soy-based or non-milk-based protein supplement shakes w/each meal to ensure adequate protein
