Yes: Yes!! They really should have gone away some time ago, I don't feel like it's normal that they're still hanging around. I might suggest you have your eyes checked with an ophthalmologist to make sure everything is ok with your eyes that your primary will not be able to see. They may have some suggestions for you to as to how to get them to go away and/or why they are still there in the first place

Floaters gotta float: I think floaters stick around but I suspect your presumed cause of them is inaccurate.
