Good diet: If your diet is deficient in green and red veggies, 10 mg of lutein and 2 mg of zea xanthine is good. The AREDS2 formulation is good for preventing intermediate dry macular degeneration from progressing to the wet form. You don't need it if you don't already have macular degeneration. Omega 3 is good for dry eye and depression. Multivits are worthless if you have a reasonable diet. Best wishes.
