Could be normal: Could be normal.....a spilt GFR testing can tell you the percentage of each kidney is functioning.

Size: Your size difference is less than 2 cm and that is a normal variation. remember these are images frozen and ultrasound screen calipers used to measure and a small error can happen. i often see the images personally in such cases, you MD may be able to. If your kidney function is normal, the size diff is OK. If you have abnormal function then this needs to be followed. Nothing to be alarmed about.
