ER - NOW: Get to the ER now. Dilated pupils not something to wait around with. Get there and get him checked out right away. Get ice on bump along the way. Frozen vegs work well. Good Luck Off you go.

Recommendation: The bump is consistent with local bruising, and if both eyes have dilated pupils, likely autonomic reaction to his pain. Although unlikely that he has intracranial problems such as bleeding, the bad headache may be rather debilitating. If he has trouble with vision, develops intense dizziness, nausea, vomiting, double vision, go to ER. Do contact your doctor about what has happened.
