Therapy?: Have you yet tried any form of psychotherapy? Typically, the optimal combination of things to treat emotional issues such as anxiety or depression is medication (which, on your best day, is supposed to take the edge off symptoms) but the real gruntwork takes place in psychotherapist's consulting room.

Diagnose before Rx: You may be missing something when you try to diagnose yourself. Any thyroid problems need to be diagnosed and treated immediately as they can cause and exacerbate anxiety symptoms. Medication certainly can be helpful to treat anxiety, panic symptoms as well as PTSD. Very often medication and therapy are combined in these situations. A physical evaulation and psychiatric consultation are needed.

MAYBE: I practice only in Virginia . If you live in Virginia I may be able to prescribe medications that will help your PTSD and Anxiety. You will need to get counseling in addition to the medications.
