Complex Disorder: 41 year old man says, My wife has several symptoms of Hypothyroidism however her TSH level are normal (last 4.8 but before 2.8) Should she take Levothyroxine? Hypothyroidism is a complex disorder, not just a number of TSH. Best to see an Endocrinologist to fine tune the Diagnosis and Management.
