Will an rpr test find syphilis infection even if it has been 2, 6, 10, years from infection?

Likely: While no test is foolproof, An RPR test should detect syphilis years after infection. A positive test will need confirmation.

RPR: An RPR is a screening test for syphilis. It looks for antibodies present in the blood of people who may have the disease. A negative test is considered normal. A positive test may mean that you have syphilis. However, false positives can occur. If the screening test RPR is positive, the diagnosis is confirmed with more specific testing.
