Interesting question: So never heard this one before. I presume you are not running around with a smile that won't ever relax, and aren't sick (I'm ruling out tetanus, which causes something called "rhisus sardonicus"). Also assuming you haven't had an injury or any neurological illness like MS. Recent dental work? Botox? Try tapping your cheek with your middle finger. Does this reproduce it? Get calcium levels.

Not dental: doesn't sound like a dental problem. Have you had any Botox like treatments or used any skin tightening creams or lotions? These could give your cheeks that sensation but should go away. If not see your PCP or dermatologist.
