Just took a shower and after drying off noticed a small patch of whitehead looking bumps on shaft. kinda itchy. bumps were not there prior to shower.

May be blocked sweat: this may be blocked sweat glands. The heat from the shower may have made your body sweat but since the glands were blocked you see little whiteheads. Ask your physician to help confirm this.
