Depends on your: Symptoms. If you have no or minimal pain, then you can wait. Conversely, if you have severe pain, you should have surgery. These days it is laparoscopic surgery, in and out the day of operation, or at most the day after. If you are a good surgical and anesthetic risk, you should sail through the operation. One week at home, and you will be better than new.
