Migraine: If you were evaluated for focal neurologic dysfunction ("for MS or Bell's palsy") and now have a severe headache, I think the correct diagnosis is likely migraine. There are many, many treatments. Some for acute pain, some for prevention. Some for mild pain, some for severe. You should meet with your family doctor and work out a treatment plan for you. Meanwhile, darkness, rest, ibuprofen are best

Severe headache? ER!: If you did not have the headache before the ER visit, and you have never had one this severe, you need to go to the ER again. Good luck!

Advice: The ER is likely the worst place to go when you are suffering headache, as the noise, commotion, bright lights, and waiting time, all contributes to increasing pain and stress. Furthermore, any treatment provided is temporary and not ongoing. Far better to contact your regular doctor and get evaluated.
