R/O HYPOTENSION: With Anxiety, the heart rate may elevate but paradoxically the blood pressure may go down. Ritalin (methylphenidate) may accentuate this. You need an exam&Labs. Also reevaluation of treatment options. For starters I recommend a Gluten Free Diet. Also the Anxiety& Phobia Workbook, which gives broad overview of meds/diet/supplements& relaxation techniques.

Stage Fright: You are right about Adrenaline Reaction. In Stage fright, blood vessels in the extremities constrict causing feeling of being cold. Constricted blood vessels give the body extra blood flow to the vital organs. Heat builds up in the head, chest and stomach.. Body begins sweating in order not to overheat; the sweat will appear on the palms of cold hands, leaving them with clammy feeling.

Possible: Some people do sweat when they get stage fright. Adrenaline causes vasoconstriction (constricted blood vessels) so in some people this decreases blood flow to the hands and feet and gives a sensation of feeling cold.

HPA Axis: When under severe stress, the HPA Axis is activated, causing blood to recede from the surface of your body. That causes you to feel cold.
