Fetal pole: And cardiac activity are usually seen at 6 weeks. It is not unusual to see a normal appearing yolk sac without seeing a fetal pole if the ultrasound is done before 6 weeks. Hopefully you will be able to hear a heartbeat at your next visit! Best wishes!

This: can be normal at this stage. The fetal pole should become visible within a week or so, along with the heart beat.
