Examination by doc?: A sensation of heat without the leg actually being warm to the touch, reddened, swollen, painful, or otherwise altered could be what is called a neuropathy but for it to be just in one extremity and nowhere else is a bit odd to say the least. I think the best course of action would be a visit to a doctor who can do a full workup including appropriate testing before recommending anything else.
