I looked at my thigh and saw a big red lump/rash. it looks swollen and when i touched it, it felt tender. i work in heat and its humid out side.

It could be a boil: in the process of coming to a head. May nee to apply warm compresses to bring to a head faster to reduce the discomfort. See your doctor to manage it for you.
