Testing: What information is needed? How will that information change or affect decision making for the patient? If a test doesn't contribute information that facilitates decisions in a patient, it isn't indicated in that situation. Too much testing is done inappropriately. Ask if you need a test and why.

No: CT with calcium scoring is a screening test to judge your risk for coronary artery disease and what it may lead to. The treadmill test is a functional measure of your heart performance that gives more specific information about any possible cardiac dysfunction and rythm problems. CT fine for screening but treadmill better for diagnostics
