Temporary Pain Relie: Till you are able to go to your dentist, you can take 2x500mg tylenol (acetaminophen) and 3x200mg Motrin or ibuprofen. This combination has a great affect on tooth pain. I have prescribed this combination to my patients who have had severe tooth ache, and they are often surprised as to how well it works.
