Mgt: You may have punctured your ear drum with the wick. It is important to have this checked. Other sources of bleeding may be in the outer ear canal. Until your are seen by your PCP, avoid using the wick or ear swabs. I would suggest gently dabbing the outside of the ear with a cotton ball if there is any discharge.
