Mgt: The dry cough may be a symptom of your asthma. If you have an Albuterol inhaler, two puffs may help to alleviate the cough. If you have allergies and post nasal drip/cough then an anti histamine is indicated. Avoid smoke and allergic triggers until seen by your doctor. You should also let your surgeon know about your symptoms. If there was a malignancy, please have a chest radiograph or CT scan.
