I was told i have ibs-d but recently i have had severe burning in my stomach after eating. can't finish a meal/nausea/indigestion. what could this be?

Call GI doc: Sounds like these are new symptoms. The GI doc needs to know about them as they could indicate an alternate diagnosis, or at least a separate diagnosis. Could be inflammation of the stomach for usual reasons (medication side effect, H.pylori infection) or indication of more extensive inflammation (Crohns disease for example) and a new evaluation is warranted.

Have indigestion since yesterday with burning dull pain up to my chest. Nausea too. Its been steady and worsening. Antacids wont help.just dull gnawing upper stomach ache and cold feeling in chest.
