Possible: While cancer is still possible any time there is an endometrial polyp, it is not highly likely. Your GYN can evaluate any risk factors that might increase the risk and help you make decisions regarding what to do next. You may need a repeat hysteroscopy or you may just want to follow it for awhile. The prometrium (micronized progesterone) does decrease the risk of malignancy developing. Hope this helps
