My blood smells like iron. and the viens on my stomach are visable around my liver area. any clues on this?

Hemochromatosis?: I'm wondering how you know how your blood smells, but if you were my patient, I think I would want to check a blood test and maybe sonogram of your liver. Also a blood test for hemochromatosis which is an iron overload disease. See your doctor and discuss these possibilities as soon as possible.

See your doctor: These symptoms sound reasonable to be explored further with some laboratory studies. I would suggest having your liver enzymes and CBC (Complete Blood Count)checked at a minimum. If there is a family history of hemochromatosis, a ferritin level would also be useful.
