No: The gums can appear light pink especially if any type of anesthetic was used. (Most have a vasoconstrictive action reducing blood flow... pink gums.)

Visit your dentist: who can help you by making an accurate diagnosis of your specific condition. It is not normal for gums to be pale or white in color, you want to see white teeth and healthy pink gums.
