A member asked:

I have a stitch granuloma. need to have it cauterised and burnt off. will it recur, what happens after theatre?

Resolves: Usually when you develop a granuloma like this, cauterizing it will resolve the problem. The cautery will destroy the granuloma and cause and wound that will hopefully heal with normal scar tissue. Occasionally granulomas recurr and have to be treated again with cautery or excision. Good luck.
