Dr.. says 8 days i'm clear from dry socket in my top left and bottom..why is my jaw still sore after 8-9 days..i get stiches removed today as well.

Expectations: Your expectations are a bit different from what your body is telling you. Yes, after 8 days you are clear of dry socket, but you did have surgery... tissue was cut, maybe bone too. Teeth were removed. During healing, the opening and closing of your mouth tugs and pulls at the wound, making it sore. At this stage OTC anti-inflammatory meds should do the trick. Feel better soon.
