Abcessed tooth: The clindamycin will not cure the abcess. It is only used to help control the infection. You will need a root canal, or have the tooth extracted. If the swelling is increasing, you need to see your dentist or an oral surgeon ASAP.

Call dentist: Call the dentist who has seen you and has prescribed the antibiotic. Drainage or a different antibiotic may be necessary. All the best...

See yr dentist ASAP: A tooth abscess won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus, ear and to other areas of your head and neck. Dentist will treat a tooth abscess by treating the cause and getting rid of the infection. See your dentist ASAP.

Call Dentist: Dose too low. 300 mg q6hrs better. LIkely not help at this stage. See dentist. Either you need incision and drainage of abscess, root canal of tooth, or extraction of tooth.
