Abnormal: Blood in stool is never normal. A variety of medical conditions, sometimes more than one, may account for your symptom. Given your age and the lack of other symptoms, benign conditions, such as hemorrhoids are more likely than others. Would suggest a visit with your primary care provider for further work up and management.
