A member asked:

What does a small amount of blood and normal color stool mean? stools are a tiny bit painful when coming out but not really. what could this mean?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood in stool: The most common cause of slightly bloody, painful stool in your age group is hemorrhoids. Irregardless you should have a physician examine you. Such a small amount of blood is normally not a cause for worry.
