Narcotics: It can be a hard balance for providers. There are many people who become addicted to narcotics. The providers obligation is to treat pain but not to feed addiction. Providers can also become somewhat jaded because of repeated negative experiences with individuals who abuse narcotics. Hope your feel better soon. Take care.
