Then go for it: Remember to take it slowly.You are not running a race. By taking it slowly and carefully most of my patients have been successful . You must be in therapy and make sure all drug friends and paraphernalia are a thing of the past . God's speed to you!

Suboxone: Congratulations, I am sure you had to work hard to arrive at this juncture. There is a formula for Suboxone withdrawal, make sure you follow your doctor's advice. My patients took siginifcan time to withdraw but it varied somewhat depending on the personality of the client. Best wishes.

Taper: Patients that stop maintenance before a year have a very high rate of relapse.
Time to start a slow taper.
