Any pain? Injury?: So your L ankle is swollen. We need to know if you injured it or not. And whether it hurts or not. Is it just the ankle that's swollen or perhaps your calf, too? OCPs?Since it's same side as your injury 3 months ago, my concern, although remote, would be for a blood clot. Without any further info or ability to examine you, there's not much for to say. Best to get evaluated at Urgent Care or ER.
