Answer: With a direct blow to your kneecap, there is a possibility that you fractured it. I'd recommend having it x-rayed because if it's broken then you'll need a knee Immobilizer and crutches.

Knee cap: This is classic presentation for a . fractured patella. You best get an X-ray which will determine the treatment reccomended . Ice crutches. Limit weight bearing until seen.
