Possible: Oral hygiene often suffers when one is sick. Also, depending on the virus you may have affected the oral cavity. Primary herpes can do this. ANUG, or trenchmouth, does as well. Best bet is to see your Dentist ASAP for diagnosis and best treatment options. Hopefully, just a minor short-lived condition easily cleared up with a cleaning or just a return to excellent home care.
