ABSOLUTELY NOT!: If these conditions and changes have happened recently, and you have even the slightest tenderness, bleeding, or sensitivity, or have started a new medication prescribed, then do see your dentist asap. You might need to be even referred to a periodontist for thorough evaluation. Good luck.

Not normal! See DDS: If left untreated long enough, a dental infection can spread and cause fatal illness. See a dentist ASAP.
