Tests show inflammation increasing. jointpain unbearable, but only <8 anti-ccp. why aren't my tests syncing with the amount of pain? prednisone helps

Normal.: Because tests do not measure pain. Tests measures various substances in the blood which rise and fall sometimes quite independently of pain. Various markers in the blood may precede or lag symptoms by long periods of time.

R/O CVD: CVD = COLLAGEN VASCULAR DISEASE. The classic ones are LUPUS & RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS. UCVD=UNDIFFERENTIATED COLLAGEN VASCULAR DISEASE. This means that you have some but not all the criteria to meet a specific diagnosis. You may have SERONEGATIVE CVD(ALL LABS ARE NORMAL) You should also have X-rays of your hands and feet to evaluate for EROSIONS)Make sure to follow up with a good RHEUMATOLOGIST.
