I recently had a ct scan for ild but it shows borderline cardiomegaly, should i be concerned? seemed to have been overlooked.

Not concerning: Borderline cardiomegaly is borderline normal. The finding needs to be corroborated or repudiated by your clinical history and exam. This is what we call an incidentaloma - something found by accident.

You need an exam&labs.(To Evaluate forDiabetes/Vitamin Deficiencies/Liver Disease/Kidney Disease/Thyroid Disease/Auto-Immune Disease. 2D ECHO to evaluate for LV Function And A Thallium Scan to Assess for CAD. If these results do not confirm a diagnosis, a Cardiac Cath& Endomyocardial Bx to evaluate for Myocarditis/sarcoid/hemochromatosis.
