Doubtful: It sounds more like one of the various kinds of headache we see rather than a brain tumor which is much more rare. You don't mention how long this has been occurring. It almost sounds like cluster headaches although those typically occur just on one side of the head at a time. Could be atypical. I would advise consulting with your primary care provider to discuss diagnoses and possible therapies

Head/ear pain: I think it may be trigeminal neuralgia. or variant thereof of neuralgia.. Could be due to zoster, herpes or lyme. less likley MS or tumor. see http://www.ninds.nih.gov/disorders/trigeminal_neuralgia/detail_trigeminal_neuralgia.htm May consider a trial of gabapentin or steroids + acyclovir + gabapentin. Get lyme titer f/u wiht doctor/neuralogist
