what is linear erythema of gastric fundus mean. just had upper gi and this was one of the findings?

Dr. David Ziring
21 years experience Pediatric Gastroenterology
Not much: Linear erythema sounds like what's found on endoscopy after the endoscope is looped in the stomach and presses against its curvature, resulting in some redness. The redness goes away, and doesn't cause any symptoms or problems. Its difficult to understand what your doctor is describing without her providing some more detail.
