Stooling ok?: Abdominal pain is very common in children. It can be due to infection, reflux, or related to diet. Often in this age it is due to constipation. Make sure your daughter is stooling normally. She should stool at least once a day. It should be soft. Other more serious causes are Celiac and inflammatory disease. It is usually best to have a thorough exam and possible testing to isolate the cause.
