I had a umbilical hernia back in 2011 everything is fine except i itch around the incision area why?

Unknown : It could be related to suture material or mesh, but is likely not a problem. On occasion, sutures can become infected years later. You would see redness, which would progress to a small opening that will drain pus. If that happens, see your surgeon for an exam. Hope this helps!
