No you need: to see your doctor , you may have an access that has to be drained , just antibiotics not enough . Most likely you have only drainage of pilonidal abscess not definative surgery.

Not really: Pain can be controlled with naprosyn (naproxen) or ibuprofen in combination with acetaminophen. The pain however is likely to be a sign of deep infection, and masking it could make it worse. I would recommend seeing a colorectal or general surgeon with experience and interest in treating this troublesome malady. Hope this helps!.
