Keep open: You actually want to keep the cyst open. Premature closure can lead to abscess. Unfortunately the area involved is sensitive. Usually keeping this area covered with a "feminine napkin" will provide ample coverage until fully evaluated by your doctor. Fever and increase bleeding warrants an er visit.
