Dental fees: you are paying for a service and very expensive parts , beware of discount dentistry. all dentists and/or the parts are NOT created equal. $3000 for two implants is inexpensive to begin with. if you needed a new hip joint would you go in and bargain with the surgeon?

Counteroffer: I cant speak to the economics of the area, but $3000 is pretty good, especially being done by a specialist. There will always be someone willing to go cheaper, do you want that ? If it fails ( nothing is 100% in life, but implants done properly are highly successful) often the total cost will be a heck of a lot more...

5-10%: Many dentists will offer around 5%-10% off if you pay cash up front. Take care and good luck.

Bargaining: I submit that we get what we pay for and seeking bargains when it comes to healthcare may end up being a mistake rather than a bargain. It is human nature for us to do our best when we feel we are fully and properly compensated for our efforts. The fees quoted seem on the low range to begin with. If lower, something may have to give. Think about it.
